We have five Activity Centres across the region, where you can hire watersports equipment, launch your own craft or learn something new with our friendly and qualified instructors:

Roadford Lake in Devon
Siblyback Lake on Bodmin Moor
Stithians Lake in West Cornwall
Tamar Lakes on the Devon Cornwall border
Wimbleball Lake on Exmoor.

Windsurfing

Whether you want to brush up on your skills or you’re totally new to windsurfing – there’s no better time to get out on the water and explore the spectacular lakes of the South West. Our five activity centres provide a variety of opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get out on the water and experience a completely unique view of the lakes.

Hire our equipment

You can hire a windsurf from us from £31.

Price includes use of buoyancy aids and helmets - you will need to bring your own footwear, swimsuit and towel. You can hire a wetsuit for £3.50.

Please note, under 8s must be accompanied by an adult.

Launch your own windsurf

If you have your own windsurf why not launch it on one of our lakes?

1 x self-launch permit is £16. 2 x self-launch permits are £29 for both. Includes parking. If you are a regular visitor to the lake, you may be interested in becoming a member. Membership entitles you to unlimited launch at all five activity centres, along with many other benefits.

'Have a go' windsurfing sessions

Learn something new with one of our qualified and friendly watersports instructors. Our 'Have a go' windsurfing sessions are a great way to gain new skills whilst having fun in the great outdoors.

Prices start from just £50.

Activity Days and Weeks

Our Activity Days and Weeks are a great way to experience a variety of land and water-based activities.

Activities include; kayaking, sailing, windsurfing, stand up paddleboarding, raft building, archery and high ropes depending on the weather conditions on the day.

Activity Days are just £85 per person and Activity Weeks are only £320 per person.

Wimbleball Lake, Exmoor

Wimbleball is a hub of colour and activity throughout all the seasons. Nestled within the rolling hills of Exmoor National Park, there are plenty of ways to get active at Wimbleball. With an array of walking and cycling trails winding around the 530 acre site, and a fantastic range of watersports and other activities available, this is the perfect location to spend a day outdoors – whether you are looking for a leisurely stroll or a challenging expedition.

Self-launch and Launch Membership

Already have your own kit? You can launch your own kayak, canoe, dingy or stand up paddleboard at our lakes! And, if you are a regular visitor, you can even become a member and launch as often as you like at all five activity centres!

Roadford Lake, Devon

Roadford Lake sits within the stunning surroundings of the Wolf Valley, close to Launceston on the Cornwall border. One of the biggest and busiest inland waters in the South West, the lake is surrounded by a variety of natural habitats, including Culm Grasslands, woodlands, old pastures and orchards.
Siblyback, Cornwall

Surrounded by the striking backdrop of Bodmin Moor, Siblyback Lake lies within the Cornwall National Landscape. There is a beautiful 5km round lake circuit, which is perfect for pushchairs, wheelchairs and bicycles. The path runs adjacent to the lake, and passes by the impressive Siblyback Dam and through woodlands.F
