Roadford Lake, nestled on the edge of Dartmoor National Park in Devon, is an idyllic location for a family day out, a special celebration or a corporate event.

Located just minutes off the A30 between Okehampton and Launceston, Roadford Lake combines spectacular views with high quality customer service. 

Food and drink

Situated on the edge of the lake, with stunning views in all directions, the café at Roadford Lake is the perfect place for a refreshing drink and slice of cake with friends and family. We offer locally sourced produce, including great coffee from Okehampton and Gerry's Original ice cream. 

The café is open open 10am-4pm Tuesday-Sunday, with indoor and outdoor seating available (please check Facebook page for any updates).

Our breakfast menu is available from 10am to 12pm. A lunch menu is served from 12pm to 2.30pm (subject to change).

We have a full range of hot and cold drinks as well as ice cream! 

We always aim to help protect our environment, by reducing our use of plastic, keeping food miles low and recycling as much as possible. We try our best not to use disposables, but when we do, you can be sure that everything is fully compostable and we even use that compost to grow our own herbs.

Gift shop

Our gift shop, situated within the café, offers a variety of gifts, local produce, home and garden ware. 

Our aim is to be as environmentally friendly as possible and you will find all manner of items to help you improve your green credentials at home, whether it be books from local authors, an eco friendly dog toy for your furry friend, or an item from some of our favourite local suppliers including South Devon Chilli Farm, #No.1 Coffee and Sandford Orchards cider.
