To avoid disappointment, pre-booking of your activities is essential prior to arriving at the centre. It is also cheaper!

Kayaking

Bring the whole family and experience an unforgettable kayaking day out in Cornwall, Devon and Exmoor. Create games, spot wildlife and explore the great outdoors with your friends, family or group.

Single kayak hire starts from just £18

Double kayak hire starts from just £27

Stand Up Paddleboarding

Stand up paddleboarding is undoubtedly one the world's fastest growing sports.

Not only is it fun, it also offers a great full body core workout, all whilst enjoying the spectacular lake views.

Mega SUP

The Mega SUP is a giant (17' long) paddleboard for families or groups of friends.

Best paddled with 4-8 people - at the same time!

Your main challenge is to stand up!

Canoeing

Sit back, relax and immerse yourself in nature. This family friendly activity is perfect for all ages and abilities.

Suitable for up to 3 people.

Sailing

Come and sail on our beautiful lakes. We have picos, fusions, visions and bahia/wayfarer available to hire.

Pico / fusion hire starts from just £36 (Sailing experience equivalent to RYA Stage 2 or Level 1 required)

Vision / bahia / wayfarer hire starts from just £79 for 2 hours (Sailing experience equivalent to RYA Stage 4 or Level 2 required)

You must meet a minimum competency level for sailing; staff will check that you meet this level when you arrive. Please note that sailing is only available to book over the phone at Wimbleball Lake.

Windsurfing

There's no greater thrill than skimming across the surface of the water with friends and family.

Don’t have your own windsurfing kit? Hire ours and experience a completely different view of the lakes.

Windsurf hire starts from just £31

Price includes use of wetsuit, buoyancy aids and helmets - you will need to bring your own footwear, swimsuit and towel.

You must meet a minimum competency level for windsurfing; staff will check that you meet this level when you arrive. Please note that windsurfing is only available to book over the phone at Wimbleball Lake.

Wing surf/foil

Enjoy the fantastic new sport of wing surfing and wing foiling without the need to buy your own equipment. We have a good selection of boards, wings and foils. Hire can be a great opportunity to develop your skills and also try different sizes of boards and wings.

Equipment hire is available to people who have suitable experience. Have a chat with our team and they will be able to advise you on the best kit for your level. Please be advised that when you hire equipment from us, you are responsible for its safe return in the same condition it went out in. You will be able to view our list of damage charges before you go out on the water.

Rowing

Perfect for a family or group up to 5 people (youngest age 1). Enjoy a relaxing row across the lake and maybe bring a picnic?

Rowing is perfect for beginners and excellent for those who want to stay dry while enjoying the water.

We offer coarse and game fishing at over 20 lakes across the South West.
Winging and eFoiling at Stithians Lake

They said wing surfing would never catch on but quite the opposite has happened and this amazing new wind sport has emerged. It’s definitely here to stay and it’s so much fun!
Paddleboarding

Explore the spectacular lakes of the South West by paddleboard. Our five activity centres provide a variety of opportunities for people of all ages and abilities to get out on the water and experience a completely unique view of the lakes. Spot wildlife, play games and enjoy some quality time immersed in nature with friends and family.
Self-launch and Launch Membership

Already have your own kit? You can launch your own kayak, canoe, dingy or stand up paddleboard at our lakes! And, if you are a regular visitor, you can even become a member and launch as often as you like at all five activity centres!
Instructor-led Sessions

Learn something new with one of our qualified instructors. Take part in a 'Have a go' session, expand your knowledge by signing up to a course or get involved in one of our weekly clubs. There really is something for all ages and abilities to try.

Wimbleball is a hub of colour and activity throughout all the seasons. Nestled within the rolling hills of Exmoor National Park, there are plenty of ways to get active at Wimbleball. With an array of walking and cycling trails winding around the 530 acre site, and a fantastic range of watersports and other activities available, this is the perfect location to spend a day outdoors – whether you are looking for a leisurely stroll or a challenging expedition.

Roadford Lake, Devon

Roadford Lake sits within the stunning surroundings of the Wolf Valley, close to Launceston on the Cornwall border. One of the biggest and busiest inland waters in the South West, the lake is surrounded by a variety of natural habitats, including Culm Grasslands, woodlands, old pastures and orchards.
Siblyback, Cornwall

Surrounded by the striking backdrop of Bodmin Moor, Siblyback Lake lies within the Cornwall National Landscape. There is a beautiful 5km round lake circuit, which is perfect for pushchairs, wheelchairs and bicycles. The path runs adjacent to the lake, and passes by the impressive Siblyback Dam and through woodlands.F
